I think I need to go … shopping, er, yeah, shopping, that’s it… in Greenpoint.
Marcello writes about his first Leather Pride Night and how much fun he had. He loved doing his volunteer shift!
Madeline’s ass and me – just right together!
Joe. My. God. reports that The Orange County Register, a conservative California paper, published an editorial endorsing marriage equality.
This is fascinating. The reason we lost the Nitke case was because we couldn’t prove community standards on the internet. Perhaps Google is moving us closer to proving that people everywhere view porn.
I think I need one of these guns to ward off the poacher.

I am bringing 10 of these buttons to camp. If you make a play pig of yourself with us at Oink Cabin, you can earn one of these buttons. Offer open to the first 10 people to be pig enough.
Fine print: Oink cabinmates are not eligible (we’re trying to lure some fresh meat). And that poacher is not allowed!
Thanks to Jocasta for getting lost in Michigan and finding these.

After I wrote my post on Sunday morning lamenting the loss of my camera, Don Quixote called and offered to go with me to J&R to buy a new camera. Sweet! But my day was too full already and I have taught myself that I can’t do everything that I want to do. I have to pace myself. So, DQ noted what I was looking for, went to J&R on his own and delivered a new camera to me at Folsom Street East! What a guy! I am a lucky princess!
My new camera is a Canon PowerShot A470
with 7.1 MegaPixels, 3.4x OpticalZoom and a 2.5” Screen. It is small and light and has pink accents!
I only had a little bit of time with my camera before my volunteer shift at the fair. And I left around 5:30 for a bite to eat before the Lesbian Sex Mafia party.
Nayland and Boymeat
Delano and Michele
They gave Thor a very important volunteer shift.
When I asked Spanky if I could take his picture, he got down on his knees.
Michael and Billy are old friends.
Ira, Jiff E, and Eric
Jorge also got a new pink camera!

This is Trevor at Folsom Street East.
He was also scantily clad at Leather Pride Night selling raffle tickets.
(We won’t see this year’s LPN photos for a while.)
Leather Pride Night went really well. Not perfect, but I never expect perfection. Even a well-oiled machine can perform only so well on a bumpy road in traffic. And our road had some bumps and a lot of traffic. Almost every single volunteer showed up, did really well and had a great time doing it. Thanks to you all! The rep from Scarleteen had to bow out due to a medical emergency so I took the mike on their behalf. And the Leather Archives guy was a no-show with no notice. Stressed me out. I bought a Cinekink pass at the auction. Spanky Boy and Spikey Dave measured me for $20 worth of raffle tickets and that was much fun. I won two raffle prizes: a MaST MetroNY membership and a $25 gift certificate to Le Chateau Exotique (I’ll redeem that at Leather Retreat!).
It was great seeing so many friends in one place. I did a bunch of flirting. I love Leather Pride Night!

Leather Pride Night went great. This photo is from LPN 2003. It’s Jo Arnone, our auctioneer, flogging one of the presenters. Once again this year, she whipped some poor presenter (haha) until she got the price she wanted.
It didn’t seem as crowded this year. We’ll see what the numbers are like in a few weeks.
In the big disaster department. I spilled Gatorade in my bag yesterday. Oy! I allowed my camera to dry out but I killed it. Won’t turn on at all. Boo hoo! I have gotten hooked on carrying my camera with me and I really have been having fun with it.
And today is Folsom Street East. I was so looking forward to taking pictures! Wah!
So, I need a new camera. Nothing fancy. I do not want something crazy expensive. Maybe one even a little smaller, but one that will still take good pics, but not like an artist. I don’t even know what features to look for. My girlfriend bought me this camera like 3 or 4 years ago. Anybody got any advice?
I am suffering camera withdrawal now today. This is the worst day to be without one! Boo hoo!

LPM 2003 (photo Barbara Nitke)
This rain-out at Shea reminds me of the year we had a big rain at camp and they made a
big slip-and-slide.
I enjoyed watching Sofia playing out at Portland Kinkfest. In addition to be a bondage expert, she is also an aerialist and likes to climb on her bottoms after they are tied up. This teaser video wants me to see the whole show! If you are in Seattle, go see it!
Midori tied up Margaret Cho!
In honor of the Mermaid Day Parade, which I am sad to miss.
And in honor of Leather Pride Night, we’ve got the remake of Cruising. It’s really well done. This is the link to Part One.

I got an email from the NY Public Theater that their production of Hair has been extended. Ha ha!
Kinkerbelle writes about this new shot that plumps up a woman’s G-spot. It sounds like a hot fantasy, but I wouldn’t do it. Well, maybe a saline infusion…
People write posts like this when they are cruising for a bruising. (No, that’s not a threat.) (Nor a promise.) Harrumph!
Robert Rubio makes the Guinness Book of World Records by taking 900 needles in Texas.
I started my week with 46 open volunteer slots for Leather Pride Night and now as of 1pm on Friday have 18 open slots, which is a huge improvement, but I am still so short. I feel the pressure. Oh, no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People get the most dressed up for the
IML contest. Spikey Dave rarely needs an excuse to get dressed up. He is typically a flashy dude. Here is is outside before the contest wearing his snazzy custom leathers from
The Leather Man.
Spanky is the current Mr New Jersey Leather. He did not compete but was there to support his Daddy who was competing. Plus he wants to run for American Leatherboy at
ABW. Son chris took an instant liking to him, because he grew up in Jersey.
Brian Heinen, Mr Dixie Belle Leather 2008, placed 4th. Boymeat bonded with him over TNG activism.
