Last weekend I went to CLAW. That’s an acronym for Cleveland Leather Awareness Weekend. The weekend is open to everyone but attracts mainly gay men. Even though there is no contest at CLAW, titleholders come from all over. This is the big pre-IML event for them to shop and network. The event also attracts a proportionately high number of BDSM players and offers some stellar educational classes and dungeon parties.
Perhaps the main focus of the event is fundraising. CLAW is non-profit and run by volunteers. In its eight years, it has donated over $160,000 to its charities. There’s a huge silent auction and a leather flea market. I went to the carnival on Friday night where they had all sorts of games. I played some blackjack and had my caricature done by John Randle.
I worked with at the Purple Passion booth with Hilton.
Graylin was selling videos in the booth across from us. He was good company.

Babeland is celebrating Tristan Taormino’s 10 years in the business with a new edition of the Tristan Plug. Tristan helped design this plug. I bought one many years ago when Tristan did one of her anal sex workshops. I chose the hot pink color. At the time, it was like no other plug on the market. It was a fabulous butt plug! Made of silicone, it was shaped differently, with a longer neck that was more tapered. It was made to stay in and it was very comfortable. I don’t know whatever happened to my old plug. I think one of my lovers made off with it. That’s just as well, because now I have the new updated edition!
The new edition is about 1/4″ shorter and 1/4″ wider but still very manageable for me. I definitely need a bit of warm up and a bunch of lube to get it in. Once it’s in, it feels really great! It makes me feel full and it really fits. I can use it by itself or with a dildo or a cock for that feeling of double penetration. This shape really stays in and it is also comfortable for me to wear when I am sitting. The flange is shaped to contour between my butt cheeks. This can be worn for a long time (you might want to add more lube after a while.)
I also used this plug on a male partner and it worked really well for him. I used a vibrator on the base and the silicone really transmitted the vibrations.
This plug is 3″ x 1-3/4″ and made of silicone. It is nonporous and can be boiled or cleaned in a dishwasher. Don’t use silicone lube with it.
To summarize, this is a fabulous butt plug and the new edition is even better. I love it!
