Well, it’s a big week for me on the internets. First The New Gay interview, then Judy McGuire’s column on the Seattle Weekly and now I got Fleshbotted for my “Thank you, Jay Wiseman” post.
The theme forthis particular Fleshbot Sex Blog Round-up was The World’s Sexiest Couples. I am very honored to be chosen for this, even though I am mighty resistant to identifying DQ and me as a couple. I graciously forgive the editor as only the most perspicacious readers could possibly detect this nuance from my writings.
This segues nicely into some of last night’s program on Power Bottoming at TES. While the panel was interesting, as at many TES meetings, some of the best discussions came up at the circle afterward. There was much said about how people perceive what they want to perceive about you. This was aptly illustrated when one person said that they identified as trans and male. Just a few minutes after that, another person referred to them as a lady. Hello? Was that person even listening to what was said?
So often I hear people at TES wonder why we don’t have a greater Queer presence at TES. It’s because of this kind of clueless statement. What makes it even worse is that this clueless person is in a leadership position at TES.
It’s not always easy to break out of the heteronormative roles and talk about it in a group among people you don’t know. It’s downright demoralizing when someone doesn’t listen to what you are saying and just tramples on your identity. TES needs to do some work to create a safe space for people who are different. It needs to start with its leaders.

Memorial Day weekend is tough. In the past I have been to Camp Crucible which is a really fun event, and to IML which is awesome, too, but in a very different way. And, for the last five or six years, I have been hearing about how wonderful Shibaricon is. All these events are on the same weekend every year. That’s tough!
But this year, I decided to go to Shibaricon. It’s time to indulge the rope geek in me. So far, I have four play dates lined up. One thing that’s really odd is that two are for spankings, another is for a single tail scene and only one is for rope. That’s so weird. But who cares if it’s weird. I have dates with four hot women! Yippee!
I am traveling and sharing a room with Viviane, my Blog Mommy. She is a great travel companion. We fly out Thursday evening. Come over and say hi to me. An easy way to find me is while I am doing my DM shift from 11pm to 2am on Friday night.

In addition to the Sex 2.0 sessions, I loved the extracurricular activities at Sex 2.0. On Sunday, we enjoyed brunch at Asylum in Adams Morgan. It’s decorated like a dungeon and has lots of vegetarian and vegan options.

After we ate, the Bitch of Dupont Circle swung by to pick me up and we went walking in the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks. It was a glorious day.

Later I taught a class on Erotic Spanking at WholeDC. It was a good turnout and I demoed with two really fun women.

“So, you want to get tied up?”
“I was hoping for that,” Don Quixote told me. “I also have this toy.” He waved a black rubber baton.
I got out his black hemp and tied his legs into crab ties. I then had him kneel on the bed and let him arrange the covers in a way to support his head and allow him to breathe. Then I tied his wrists to the crab ties. His ass was up in the air now and I could do whatever I wanted. I rummaged through his bag on butt toys. There was quite a variety. I picked the Aneros. It’s not a huge toy but it is shaped in a way that hits his prostate and his perineum just right. I lubed it up and lightly pressed it up against his asshole. He pushed back on it and it slid in easily.
I picked up the rubber baton. This toy can be a real killer. I started with a light tapping on his ass. I was comfortable on the bed and just taking my time gradually increasing the intensity. Sitting back and beating his ass makes me happy.
After a while, he reported to me, “My leg is started to hurt.”
“Like, what do you mean?”
“It’s the rope. And the position.”
“Well, is it loss of circulation or is it a nerve thing?”
No, not nerve. Just falling asleep. Tingly.”
“Oh, we don’t need to worry about that for a while. Jay Wiseman says that’s not an issue.” I continued beating him and then, “Aw geez, look at me quoting Jay Wiseman. In bed, no less!” I laughed.
After a while, I took him out of the rope. Of course, he was okay.
A couple of weeks later, Jay was teaching at TES. We listened as he told the story about his experiments with rope bondage and circulation. Jay loves busting safety myths.
Afterwards, we held hands on the way to the subway. “See? I told you that Jay said it was okay.”

Daddy! Look at what I got! I am soooo excited because I finally FINALLY got my own Hello Kitty vibrator. And it’s pink! These were around maybe 10 years ago and were much sought after, but production stopped and some of these were going on eBay for a lot of money. Now Babeland is selling them again.
Yes, this is a fun toy, especially for me because I am into age play. I like to role play as a six year old princess and this pink one is totally a great addition to my bag of little girl toys. However, when it comes down to the business of getting off, the vibrations just aren’t intense enough for me. So, while I can rate it 100% on the kitsch value, I really need something more serious to get me off.
A few details:
- The Hello Kitty vibe is make of hard plastic. It’s is nonporous and easy to clean. Still, I would put it into a latex glove if I were to use it on someone else.
- It takes an AA battery and Babeland even included one with it so I didn’t have to wait to use it.
- Babeland also sent me a Chocolate Raspberry Massage Bar which I haven’t tried yet. They’ll send one out as a free gift to everybody who buys a Hello Kitty vibrator for as long as supplies last.
- Babeland is running a Hello Kitty photo contest. Maybe I’ll enter!
