This year is a pretty tough year choosing which candidates are the best for TES. I have decided to vote for Jason, Lady Sabrina, Lou, Mary Ann, Sir Guy and Valentine.
If you are a member, please make your best efforts to attend the membership meeting on September 8th. Every year there are motions made from floor during the meeting that have not been announced beforehand. These can have a big impact on TES. There have been rumors that this will be the case this year. So it’s important that people are there to listen and vote.
If you can’t be there, send in BOTH your ballot AND your proxy. Make it an unlimited proxy to someone you trust who will also be there. You can download the candidates statements, ballot and proxy here. These must be received by TES at least 72 hours before the meeting, which means by Friday, September 4th. So don’t wait until the last minute.

Harvey “Jack” McGeorge passed away on August 18, 2009. He was 59 years old. The quote above is what he said when the Washington Post outed him in 2002 when he was a weapons inspector with U.N. Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC). He did offer his resignation to Hans Blix, who had known of his BDSM from the beginning. Blix refused to accept his resignation. Jack was a former Marine, a munitions expert, a sharpshooter and a chemical and biological warfare expert. He had his own consulting company, Public Safety Group.
Jack was a bondage enthusiast and a metal bondage collector. He acquired his first pair of handcuffs when he was eight years old. His first explorations with others came while he was in the Marine Corps and, then later, in Mensa. He was a founding member and an emeritus board member of Black Rose in DC and served in several capacities including Chairman of the Board, President, Secretary and Co-chair for BR10. Additionally he had been a member of TES, GMSMA and Delta where he had served as a chief DM.
Jack was also passionate about latex, role play, teaching and activism. He taught on a wide variety of topics for many groups and events over the years. Jack served for five years on the Leather Leadership Conference board, was the Co-chair for LLC2000 and an Emeritus Board Member. Jack was a past Chairman of the Board of National Coalition for Sexual Freedom and served as Chair for the CARAS Board.
Over the past dozen year, Jack explored a passion for Master/slave dynamics. He established a household, the Order for Discipline and Service. He was greatly influenced by monastic and military structure and developed household manuals, uniforms, brochures, and a household philosophy. Jack and slave raven held the Northeast Master and slave title in 2005.
His community awards included:

Jack was my primary partner from 1993 to 1999. He seduced me with his fascinating stories and kept me enthralled with his incredible play style. Together we built our first leather family. I helped him with his metal bondage collection and he encouraged me with my teaching (It’s not a real presentation if there’s no handout!). We worked together on projects like BR10, LLC and NCSF. We did not always agree on everything, but we were always on the same side. And we were friends until the end.
Many others in the BDSM/Leather community were touched and inspired by Jack. This is a huge loss.

I’m excited about going to Floating World. It’s not the event so much but what Don Quixote and I are going to do there. We are going to do a weekend of exclusivity. Exclusivity or, as I jokingly refer to it, monotony. We’re putting the poly in our relationship on hold and playing only with each other. This is very different from the way we always do things. While we have attended lots of events with each other and hang together and play together, each one of us always has plenty of play dates with other people.
I am very committed to being poly. I could never be anything else. And for the past four years, I have been very committed to being single. Single to the point where I have been ridiculously overcompensating in my relationship with Don Quixote. My friends make fun of me, however, my fanaticism with us not being a couple has probably been just the right thing in our relationship.
So, now, we are going out of our normal comfort zone for the weekend. It’s going to be a weekend where we are going to explore being together and we are also adding a D/s dynamic. We are generally both switches and we are pretty fluid in our dynamic and the power makes its way back and forth. We are pretty comfortable with that. This weekend, I’m going to be in charge and he’s going to wear a collar. He’s going to belong to me. We have never formally done that for an entire weekend.
Floating World is going to be a good weekend to try this. I find the event to be a bit overwhelming. It’s very big and spread out, making it tough to meet up with people. This is made even more difficult because cell phones are banned there. And last year, with the class schedule running late into the night, making plans with some of my friends was next to impossible. I’ll teach my classes and then won’t have to worry about any other scheduling. We’ll do what we want to do when we want to do it.
So, what does this all mean for the two of us in the future? I dunno. It’s an experiment. It does not have to mean anything at all. We both think that this is really hot. That should be enough, don’tcha think?

I realized that I have been remiss in not posting a photo of my tattoo. So, here it is. I love it.
So, when I was at Leather Levi Weekend, within the first hour, this guy comes up to me and reaches into his pants and shows me his balls. They were tattoed NO PAIN. And then he gives them a half-turn and the tattoo said NO GAIN. It took me by surprise and I did not know what to say.
The next day I see the guy and I say, “I got big hairy balls in my pants. Wanna see?”
“Really? Yeah, let me see.”
I dropped my pants and showed him my tattoo. He laughed.
I single tailed him on Saturday night. He was a pretty wild guy.

So, I met up with Pup at The Eagle Friday night. He’s got a nice new boyfriend who lives here in NYC. Very cute. Giggles when he gets clothespins put on him. So, I punched Pup and then began flogging his chest. I got a bunch of great strokes in and then the tails of my flogger went flying. The damn flogger just fell apart. A little embarrassing.
I bought the flogger in the silent auction a couple of years ago at IMsL. Made by someone from Oklahoma. Pretty, but not well made. Tails were glued in. Who glues in tails? They are supposed to be nailed!
Anyway, I switched to a single tail after that. I love playing on the roof of the Eagle. And I love playing with Pup!
