This year is a pretty tough year choosing which candidates are the best for TES. I have decided to vote for Jason, Lady Sabrina, Lou, Mary Ann, Sir Guy and Valentine.
If you are a member, please make your best efforts to attend the membership meeting on September 8th. Every year there are motions made from floor during the meeting that have not been announced beforehand. These can have a big impact on TES. There have been rumors that this will be the case this year. So it’s important that people are there to listen and vote.
If you can’t be there, send in BOTH your ballot AND your proxy. Make it an unlimited proxy to someone you trust who will also be there. You can download the candidates statements, ballot and proxy here. These must be received by TES at least 72 hours before the meeting, which means by Friday, September 4th. So don’t wait until the last minute.

Lolita, you are such an icon in the local scene I know your choices carry a lot of weight. I know many will vote simply based on your opinion.
I must admit to being surprised that you listed names and no reasons.
You know, and I state for any who may not, that I am running for the board and did not make your list.
I have an enormous respect for you, and if you elucidated WHY you chose who you did, I might just have been convinced to vote against myself.
You are a strong role model (and have been for me) to my dismay I’ve never really had the chance to truly get to know you, however I respect your opinion.
Sadly, this an opinion in a vacuum, educating neither the voters who will (or will not) listen to you, nor informing those you chose not to endorse what it is you expect from Board candidates.
