My IML 2008 Trip – Part 14 – Final

After the contest I took a boy up to my room and poked him with needles. It got him all high and goofy. He had a pair of hinged handcuffs with him but forgot the key at home. Of course I had a key so I locked him in those and took him downstairs through the lobby, socializing on the way, and then up to his room. I put him to bed with instructions to bring us coffee in the morning.
The next day the boy went a bit overboard. He and a room service waiter knocked on our door and wheeled in an entire breakfast! How luxurious! Of course, such behavior needs to be acknowledged, so I took care of it the only way I know how.
I love coffee and caning!

Republic

Boymeat and I have always loved going to Republic in Union Square. We were very disappointed when we went this past weekend and found that our favorite dish, the one we both always ordered, was off the menu. We complained to the waiter that there was no Tom Ka. He told us many people missed that dish, but he could not offer any suggestions as a replacement.
I figured that maybe this was an opportunity to try something else and ordered the Sauteed Rice (shrimp, chinese sausage, carrots & green peas, egg, bean sprouts, scallions, tomato paste, garlic $10). It looked pretty but it was rather bland.
Boymeat was chasing the Tom Ka and ordered the Spicy Duck (rice vermicelli, shredded duck, curry, coconut milk, bean sprouts $11) hoping it would be a good substitute, but he was not happy with his choice.
Dara ordered the Grilled Pork Chops (vietnamese crushed rice, soy ginger glaze, scallions, pickled carrots, daikon, garlic, cucumber $11) and I tasted that and it was yummy enough.
We loved our drinks. I had an Asian Basil Lemonade which was non-alcoholic.

The Art of Rita

Graydancer tied up Rita Seagrave and did all sorts of nasty things to her. There are 399 images of this scene that were photographed by Zuchtiger. It was all part of a fundraiser for Graydancer’s east coast trip. I was a sponsor so I have access to all those pictures. They have given me permission to post a couple of them here. Unless you are also a sponsor, you can’t see the rest of the photos (and there definitely were some very juicy ones), however you can listen to the audio version here for free.
The photo on top shows my length of rope. Different sponsors got different pieces of rope and the bigger sponsors got to choose body parts. The photo below is one that I especially like because it shows how happy the two of them are after the scene.

Save The Roxy! I am going to attend this meeting before the TES Meet The Candidates meeting. It’s only seven blocks away. Community Board 4’s Business Licenses & Permits Committee, 6:30 PM, Tuesday, Aug. 12th, in The Minetta Room of The Westin Hotel, at 270 W. 43rd St between 7th and 8th Avenue.
The Red Rose writer pleads guilty to internet obscenity and gets 5 years probation and a $1000 fine. She also gets 6 months house arrest, but she’s agoraphobic anyway.
In the United Kingdom, “Attitudes towards spanking and bondage are changing. It seems that people – particularly those living in cities and urban areas – are becoming far more open to alternative sexual behaviour.”
Midori critiques the cover of Psychology Today’s August issue where the cover model is wearing the corset backwards and upside down (among other fashion faux pas).
