Stop The Arrests

February 11th, 2009 · No Comments

This is all part of the same anti-sex crackdown as the raids on the Pro-Domme houses.

Tell Mayor Bloomberg to Stop the False Arrests of Gay Men for Prostitution

DEMONSTRATE

at the home of Michael Bloomberg

17 East 79th Street

Saturday, February 14, 2009

12 Noon – 1 PM

In an overzealous and illegal effort to close down adult video stores in Manhattan, the New York Police Department has been found to be engaging in the false arrests of gay male patrons of these stores, charging them with prostitution. The cops then cite the establishments for condoning illegal activity and the City sues to shut them down as public nuisances.

Scores of innocent men have been swept up in these false arrests, documented in the Gay City News. Young undercover cops go up to middle-aged gay men, cruise them, ask for consensual sex, and then offer to pay the older men to have sex with them. Though none of the men agree to the offer, they are then arrested by a gang of undercover cops and put through the system. None of the men have prior arrests. And while only 17% of male prostitutes arrested in NYPD’s Manhattan South district are over 40 years old, 66% of the men arrested at the Blue Door video store are. The legitimacy of these arrests is inconceivable. It also casts doubt on arrests at other targeted stores.

These false arrests have been condemned by City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Council Member Rosie Mendez and State Senator Tom Duane. Mayor Bloomberg must put a stop to these arrests now and bring the rogue cops engaging in these crimes to justice.

WE DEMAND:

1. MAYOR BLOOMBERG – Stop the false arrests of gay men for prostitution!

2. GOVERNOR PATERSON – Appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and punish these crimes by the police!

3. MAYOR BLOOMBERG, D.A. MORGENTHAU and POLICE COMMISSIONER  KELLY – Sit down with gay groups, leaders and victims of these illegal stings, to get to the bottom of this outrage, and stop the arrests and prosecutions –NOW!

STOP THE OUT-OF-CONTROL VICE SQUAD NOW!

Action Alert AGAIN!

February 10th, 2009 · No Comments

This is really stupid.  Intercontinental Hotels only logged the complaints against Winter Wickedness.  So, if you called in favor and did not give them your info or did not get a confirmation number, your call was not recorded!  This is really important because InterContinental is using this data to decide whether to continue to host adult-oriented events throughout its vast chain of hotels.

Action Alert
National Coalition for Sexual Freedom

Call InterContinental Hotel Group to Preserve our Venues

As more BDSM events come under attack by the religious political extremists, we need to be vigilant in maintaining good relations with our host hotels and their corporate headquarters. Please call InterContinental Hotel Group and tell them you’re very glad they supported Winter Wickedness held at the Holiday Inn Worthington in Ohio this past weekend.

Winter Wickedness was a huge success with over 400 people holding firm in the face of adversity. This BDSM conference was affirmed legal and safe by both the local police department and the county health department. Though religious extremists tried to shut down the event, attendees reported a feeling of solidarity and community when faced with this outside threat, and as it became clear that we were winning, there was an extra relish in participating in an exciting and educational event in spite of these attacks.

If you called InterContinental Hotel Group and the operator did not take your name and number, or if they didn’t give you a confirmation code, then they did *not* log your call. Please call again! You don’t have to give your name or contact info if you’d like to remain anonymous, but be sure to get a confirmation code.

Intercontinental Hotels Group Corporate Customer service line: 800-621-0555, then press option 1, then option 5.

Or send an email to: media@ihg.com  Thank them for not discriminating against groups, and for being willing to face minor adversity for the sake of our freedom.

It’s very important to stand up for ourselves now! Thank you to everyone who called InterContinental Hotel Group – without you we wouldn’t be able to hold our events.

Permission

February 9th, 2009 · 8 Comments

She emailed me two months before the party.  “I know your dance card fills up so I am asking you now for a playdate.”  I told her yes.

I ran into her a couple of weeks before the party.  “Don’t forget that we have a playdate.”  I assured that I certainly did remember and that I was looking forward to it.

I was happy to see her at the party. “I have permission to be marked.”

Oh! Permission to be marked! That changed things.

It is not like I go into a scene with a goal of marking someone. Not usually. However, she always has this limit that she can’t be marked. It is something that her partner does not like. So when I played with her before, I had to be cautious not to mark her. I prefer to not have to be worry about that.

“Well, that changes everything,”I told her. “Forget the rope bondage. We’re doing impact instead.”

It was a good scene. I could do what I wanted without worrying about bruising or cuts. However, as it turns out, I didn’t mark her much. Well, not until the end, that is. At the end, I bent her over and wrote on her with a fat Sharpie marker: Dear Sir, Thank you! xx Lolita

Are you koumpounophobic?

February 7th, 2009 · No Comments

So, I asked somebody to play with me and she said no.

I am very excited about going to Dark Odyssey! I’m hosting the Cupid’s Arrow special event, teaching three classes and participating in the author’s meeting. I’ve also got a couple of scenes planned and am doing a podcast interview. I’ll spend time with lots of friends and will meet new people.  It’s going to be a whirlwind weekend.

I’ve been enjoying the web series, Family. One of the actors just got fired from an ad campaign. Anita Wagner wrote about it. I wrote the company an email about it.

Urgent Update on Winter Wickedness Issue

February 6th, 2009 · No Comments

As I posted yesterday, Peter LaBarbara and Americans for Truth are trying to shut down a BDSM event at a Holiday Inn in Columbus, OH and we need people in our community to call.

We are at a critical time – the relgious extremists are calling out their people and right now the calls are running half-positive and half trying to cancel the event.

PLEASE call and forward the action alert to your people and urge them to call now. We have to let InterContinental know that we appreciate them standing strong against hatred.

Susan Wright just sent them the agreement NCSF had arranged with InterContinental Hotel Group in 2006 that stated:

Stephanie Yudin, PR Manager for the Brand, confirmed “that as long as alternative sexual events follow local and state laws, and abide by InterContinental’s morality clause which prohibits nudity and sexual activity in the public areas of the hotel, it is up to each hotel’s discretion whether or not they host alternative lifestyle events.”

This is a critical time for this event, and for preserving the over 3,000 InterContinental Hotels for future events.

I called.  It was easy.  Please, you call, too.

V-Day is coming!

February 5th, 2009 · No Comments

I am not a big fan of Valentine’s Day. Too much pressure. Too commercial. Only suckers buy flowers on Valentine’s Day; it’s the most expensive day of the year for flowers. I told Don Quixote that we should go buy some dark chocolate on February 15th. It’s still just as good and on sale!

But any day is a good day to shop and here’s what’s looking good to me right now:

  • A most gorgeous butt plug from The Stockroom. And it’s on sale, no less. I like the smaller size with the diamond. It matches my tiara!
