~ This Week’s Top Three Posts ~
Roadmaps of Consent – I fucking love consent. I love safewords. I can be much more cruel, and push much harder, if I trust my partner to tell me when I go too far.
Staying Safe – One cock, from one man, missing one condom, ultimately led to my brother’s death. And that sucks.
Flying the Friendly Skies – One button on her sweater was undone, there was a rip in her hose, scratches on her boots, and her hair was carelessly pinned back with stray wisps of hair escaping. There was a curious flavor of soiling about her, something a bit dirty and unkempt.
~ Featured Post (Lilly’s Pick) ~
Labels and my thoughts… – In the past year and a half I have gone from being someone that was lost, without identity that fit, rattling around inside myself to someone that has names for what they are.

I had a blast bartending before the show started. It gave me a chance to say hi to everyone. Many of them were people I had not seen in a long time.
Sylvia Tosun started the evening off with some songs. It was her first time wearing latex.

The Leather Man showed some very well-fitted rubber for guys.

The Leather Man also showed Grappling Gear.

And of course, The Leather Man had really nice leather clothing as well.

Manskins showed mainly jocks, harnesses and accessories.

I especially liked the genderfuck of adding stockings and high heeled boots.

This “million dollar jock strap” was auctioned off for $500 and the winner was able to come up to the stage to take it off the model.

Of course, there was a lot of hotness in the audience, too. Anthony wore his new long latex skirt with a slit up the side along with a Shane corset and platform mules – all from Purple Passion.

And the always fabulous Ms. Wittee!

Playing in Dangerous Neighborhoods: Advanced Rough Sex
Face slapping. Teeth sinking into flesh. Kicking someone when he’s down. Gang bangs, Knives going where god never intended them to go. Fists flying. Rape. Fingers gripping. Gasping for breath. Forced blow jobs. Crawling and begging… If combining these things with pre-negotiation and full consent sound white hot, then you, sweet pervert, want Rough Sex. With humor, affection, straight talk, and smarts, Felice Shays will discuss and demonstrate techniques from her Brutal Affection class: slam, slap, kick, and punch, yet THIS time the emphasis will be on how to combine them with killer sex techniques. We will also explore emotional limits and release, safety, partnered positions, group scenarios, head space, anatomy, dirty talk, and helpful items. Finally, Felice will share provocative techniques on how to find your own desire and how to push through fears that might be preventing you from discovering new sexual and sensual highs. Yeah, we’re talking SEX. Sweet, raunchy, bring it SEX.

Brutal Affection: Punching, Kicking, Slapping and Sex
It ain’t about the brawn. Regardless of your size, gender, or physical ability, this highly interactive workshop uses scads of demonstrations to teach you fierce, passionate methods of slam, slap and thud. Learn to use your brain and a multitude of body parts to bring you and your partners to new found levels of physical, sensual, sexual intensity and intimacy. With humor, affection, straight talk, and smarts, Felice Shays will discuss and demonstrate technique, safety, partnered positions, head space, anatomy, and helpful items. Also, as time allows, Felice will work with individuals, dyads and other combinations of partners to resolve their dilemmas of inequity of size, status, attitude or muscle.

It was a Sunday, I locked Don Quixote into the chastity device. We would not see each other again until Friday. He didn’t complain. He knew that I had the right to control him in that way.
He did, however, mention that he had a date. One of those kinds of dates. A date for sex. He was letting me know that perhaps I might not think this was an optimal time for him to be locked up. I thought about it. Did I really want to ruin his sex date? I wasn’t really worried about DQ, but I did want to be considerate to his date. I want to be a good poly partner.
I did not have to think about it too long. “Some of the best sex we’ve had did not involve your cock. I think your date will be just fine.” I kissed him good-bye, “Have fun! See you Friday!”

The internet is abuzz with a discussion about the porn star who is “losing her virginity” in a shoot at kink.com. There’s a great post on Maggie Mayhem‘s blog with a response from Peter Acworth himself.

I am totally fascinated by the Ballz Gag from The Stockroom. This looks like it would be a lot of fun on either side.
My New Year’s resolution is that I strive to check Facebook almost every day. Last year I mostly ignored Facebook and I missed a lot of stuff that was critical. Apparently Facebook is very important. Facebook!
I am all about this huge chunk of happiness from Thor’s LiveJournal.
I just updated my list of teaching gigs. It gets busier every year.

So, I just read Man Attempts to Restore Romance to NYC With Blog Admitting Interest in Marriage.
Ya know, marriage is not the ticket to romance. Sure, getting married is romantic. Oh, the engagement! Oh, the wedding! Oh, the big white wedding dress! Oh, finding “the one!” Being together forever and ever. Dreaming of what your life will be like together. So romantic.
After a few years of married life, there’s often divorce. Look at the statistics. Even when married people don’t divorce, there’s an abundance of lying and cheating. Again, look at the statistics.
Some marriages do succeed. Some can keep the romance alive, but there has got to be more than romance to keep them together. And some marriages are non-romantic and very successful.
Maybe I just hate that my family held marriage up to me as the big goal. That marriage was the ticket to a lifetime of happiness and security – very middle class bourgeois. I always preferred being self-sufficient. I don’t want or need anyone to “complete me.” Maybe I am a rebel. Or maybe I just want to live my life the way I want to live my life.
There are some really good reasons to marry. Our society offers bonafide legal and social advantages to people who marry: tax breaks, ease of raising children, health care advantages, etc. It’s why marriage equality is so important.
So, I’ve got a romance going with Don Quixote. Of course, if he wins the lottery, I’ll marry him. I doubt that will happen, but I think that his playing the lottery is very romantic.
This is probably a really bad time to be so negative about romance and marriage. It should be a post congratulating Boymeat and Kitten for getting engaged. I am happy about that. Really.
