I laughed. “That is a common misperception.”

Okay, I thought, things are getting interesting here. Jonah was one of the hottest leathermen I knew. An experienced player. I knew what kind of play he liked. He was totally up my ally, but I had always considered him unobtainable. I figured he was gay and not interested in play or sex with women and that he just liked me as a person. Sure, I do play with gay men, but I never even think of coming on to them. They usually approach me. And this encounter was starting to look like an approach. Oh, my!

I could see his mind whirring. “So, does my playing with men make a difference to you?”
“Um…” His eyes darted around the room. He shifted nervously. “Yes.”
“So, let’s play.”
“Not here.”
“Don’t want to ruin your chance of becoming Associate, huh?” I smirked.
He nodded.
“Good luck with that.”
I walked away.
