The phone rings. “I know I am calling very late” It’s 8pm on Wednesday. “But I am hoping you have time for me on Friday night. I have this outfit that just needs a single tailing.”
“Well, I have a play date and she also has another play date…”
She cuts me off, “I know.”
“You know? You talked to her?” I am amused.
“Yes, and she told me that she has two play dates and one is with you.”
“Well, then you know we have to work on the timing so everyone can squeeze both their dates in.”
“Can you stay late? I have to be there late because I am on clean-up.”
“Okay. So, what are you wearing?”
“It’s a wench outfit. Wait til you see. It’s perfect for a single tailing.”
It’s a pirate party.
