Sometimes you know something is wrong.

But it continues to gnaw at you from inside.

But a lie can only be lived for so long.

Tuesday was my birthday and I spent it perfectly. At home alone, just puttering around. And screening my calls.

The fact that I was alone on my birthday worried a few people at first, like it was a bad thing. It’s not. It was how I wanted to spend it. There’s plenty of raucous partying to be done all the rest of the week. My friend, Teresa, is arriving tomorrow and we have big plans including:

Wednesday: TES Bondage SIG with Michael Horowitz teaching Mummification
Thursday: the first gathering of the NYC Pleasure Positive Salon at Marion’s Restaurant
Friday: my birthday dinner with friends
Saturday: a birthday burlesque party for another friend of mine
Sunday: a fabulous Oscar party
Monday: tickets to a Broadway show

So, yes, there are still Dark Odyssey Summer Camp stories to tell. Here’s one:

Barbara Nitke is the official camp photographer. She is the only one allowed to take photos. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed wear a red wrist band and those who do want to get photographed sign a model release and wear a purple band.

Camp is big and Barbara can’t be everywhere so sometimes she misses some really good stuff. Barbara stays with us in Oink cabin. One of my greatest pleasures is getting back to the cabin and telling her about the good stuff that she missed. It’s torture for her.

So, through some kind of miracle, Barbara finds me singletailing Casey by the swing set outside our cabin. Barbara shoots in front of us from several angles. After a bunch of shots, she is done and starts to go, but I beckon her to come see from the back. She is not really interested in shooting us from the back, because she is only interested in catching the emotions in our faces. However after over a dozen years of friendship, she knows enough to follow my lead.

She comes around and sees Casey’s back. “Oh my God! Lolita! I had no idea!”

I had been whipping the two rows of hypodermic needles that I had pierced into Casey’s back.

I think there should be more hunky men doing opera.

Here’s a hot site called Lottery Orders. The Master registers with both partners’ email addresses. The Master sets up a list of commands. Twice a week, according to what UK lottery numbers come up, an email is sent with an order for the submissive that the Master has programmed into the system.

I don’t usually like to make waves. I find that I am likely to be accused of being a prima donna because, well, ya know, I am Lolita. So, I usually overcompensate and tolerate shit that I should not.

I was doing a flogging at the LSM party on Sunday and there were some people talking in the play space. And they were too loud. I just focused and tried to block out their voices. But somebody else shushed them. I looked and it was a deaf person telling them to lower their voices. You know they had to be pretty loud when a deaf person notices. I thought that was kind of funny.

So, I recently got this pair of hand-me-down overalls. They’re a bit big for me but I like them a lot. Been wearing them around the house. They make me happy.

So, last night I wore them out for the first time. To a sex party. And they’re perfect for a sex party because they come off real easy.

But I do like being included in such a fabulous list.
