KD is one of the hottest butches in NYC. We walked through Central Park one evening and stopped at Bethesda Fountain. KD told me about the sculptor, Emma Stebbins. Her female lover died from breast cancer, and in the nineteenth century, the only “cure” was water therapy, so she sculpted this fountain with healing water. This statue is also the inspiration for Tony Kushner ‘s Angels in America.
