Last weekend, I went down to New Orleans for the

LLC board meeting. Oh my, New Orleans is just such

a party town. Luckily, the board got all its business

done on Saturday during the day, so that left us lots

of time to have fun. We did a lot of drinking and

eating. I had beignets for the first time

Commander’s Palace (http://www.commanderspalace.com),

Margaretaville (www.margaritaville.com) and Acme

(nola.com/oystercam).

We also had a chance to meet with the LLC local

organizing committee, both in a formal meeting and at

a BBQ hosted by RampartDom. They have a lot of

great ideas and are doing a lot of planning. LLC-8 in

New Orleans will be fabulous. Mark your calendars for

On Saturday night we went to a play party hosted by

NOBLE (lanoble.org). I did not play but I voyeured.

Afterwards, back at the inn, Glenda Rider went over my

knee. After a long sensual warm up, she counted out

EYE ON THE PRIZE

Pitchfork Productions’ “Eye On The Prize” intends to

cover award ceremonies and competitions that are not

well know, or rarely heard of, outside of the community

that they serve. The second episode will take viewers

behind the scenes of the Ms World Leather competition

and will follow three of the Ms World Leather contestants

as they go for possible victory. This episode hopes to

show what makes these passionate women tick, how

they got involved in the Adult Alternative Lifestyle

community, and what they think it takes to become the

winner.

sheryl dee, American Leatherwoman 2003 and other

leather girls from around the country are creating the

Leather Girl Network. Leather girls are defined as men

and women, slaves, submissives, and bottoms with a

feminine heart. Leather girls are not defined by biology

Q & A OF THE WEEK

Q. I’ve got this friend. She’s interested in

submission but she has this problem…she can’t handle

smells. I don’t mean ‘could you bathe once a week,

please?’ I mean, she can’t handle the smell of a person

who’s showered two minutes ago. It’s just body smells,

too. Not even body /odor/, but just normal…body

smells. I already asked about putting her shirt over her

head (heh. Always thinking, me!) but, apparently that’s

not enough. Have you heard of this before?

A. Well, she must have a problem with plain old

vanilla sex, then, too. She has a big problem here.

Maybe she needs to talk to a doctor about it. Barring

that, she needs to either mask the odor with something

stronger smelling or else block the smell – maybe with

a hood.
