I walked into his office and he handed me the paper. It was the NY Post with a photo of a nice looking couple with a headline: Star Manhattan Lawyer Slain in S&M Love Triangle
“Ugh! Sensationalism!” I decried.
“Do you know her?”
“No. I don’t know everybody.”
“I never buy the Post.”
“Why did you buy it today? This is why they put this shit on the cover. So that people will buy it. Everybody wants to buy stories about S&M.”
“It wasn’t even about S&M.”

Sadly, there is an absolute fascination by the general public with bdsm and dominatrices that sells a lot of papers. The Post has figured that out.
