In addition to TES elections on Tuesday night, as a New York Democrat, I have to vote in my local primary. These aren’t the big races that garner a lot of media attention, but rather races for like Surrogate Court and Civil Court. Local politics do make change, so it’s important to vote and make a difference.

The Mayor of Secaucus is trying to stop the EXXXOTICA New York convention. The Mayor should stop worrying about what consenting adults do at a private convention. Doesn’t Secaucus have real issues to deal with?
