Everybody has different edges. What some people think it edgy is often not a big deal for me. But then there are certain activities that other people think is not big deal but they unnerve me.

Sometimes I just want to, no, I need to, push myself. For a long time I have been fantasizing about doing a strip in front of a lot of people. I thought about doing it this year at Leather Retreat. And then I thought about doing it at Dark Odyssey. But I finally got the guts to do it last weekend at just Play in Baltimore.

One of the things that sweetened the pot for me was the fact we were all dancing for real money as a fundraiser. That excited me. Chairs were set up in a long narrow oval on the third floor. Women (and trans) were seated waving dollar bills for special attention. This was different than stage performance. We were expected to interact with the audience so that we could collect money. They stuck money in my thong and they stuck money in my Wesco boots. I worked that room.

Another element was that this was a contest. I really did not think much about that because I never thought I would win. I just wanted to do it. But the most amazing thing happened – I did win!
