Lolita and Jack’s leather family,

We’re stunned to have just learned of Jack’s most untimely death, and are deeply sorry for your loss.

Jack means so much to us — his passing will never change that. We were honored to call him friend, and to be given the extraordinary privilege to interact with him as a teacher, mentor, host of the best parties, and deeply caring man.

Jack and His boy Andrea played a major role in bringing us together as Master and slave, and although we had to leave BR, the former Phoenix Society and the DC area much sooner than we wanted to, we have never forgotten him or all that he taught us and the invaluable contributions he made to the leather community in its broadest sense.

Again, we are saddened by Jack’s death, and wish him, and you, peace.

I was on the first Board of Directors of CAPEX in Charlotte, NC in 2000 and we asked Jack to give a presantation. He did not hesitate. That night at our social I asked him to do me a personal favor and do a short knife play scene with my wife. Though he had onle met she and I once earlier, he did not hesitate. Though it was only a three minute scene it was most instructional. I may have only known him for one day but, will remember him for all of mine. Jack gave of himself unselfishly. He will be missed. Our sympathy Lolita.

The world has lost a GREAT man. A leader, a mentor, a father, a husband, and a wonderful friend. He will be greatly missed!

I have wonderful memories of Jack hosting me and others in his home. And the amazing basement/dungeon! (Domestic metal bondage in one room, foreign in the other!)

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jack lives in my memories, as many of you have said, as a proud and loving man who taught many of us a lot. I will never forget his amazing collections of instruments and his playful scolding me for “enjoying myself too much” at one of his parties. And yes, like others have said, it was so inspiring to see him stand up for himelf and us all during the Blix mess. Namaste, Jack!

Thank you for posting this, Lolita. I bow my head in respect and remembrance. Though I did not know him well, I took his classes and had the opportunity to talk to him about bondage. Jack was an inspiration as a courageous lifestyle role model and a great teacher.
